Job Description:

Primary focus for the individual is on the set up, implementation, maintenance and analysis of Search Engine Optimisation, Pay Per Click campaigns that Hit Search provides to its client base.

The ideal candidate must possess experience in an SEO environment; with knowledge of search engine algorithms; the benefits of the major search engines and must have hand-coding technical skills in HTML, CSS. The successful applicant should have at least two years experience in a similar role.

The ideal candidate would have the following skills:

• Search Engine Optimisation skills & management (keyword analysis, On-page optimisation, Off-page optimisation, link building)
• Pay Per Click Management (campaign strategy, keyword research and selection, PPC registration and set up, bid management, reporting and analysis)
• Analytics (web traffic analysis, conversion rate analysis, Return On Investment tracking)
• Affiliates and monitorising web traffic
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Proven organisational and project management skills.
• Offline marketing experience or qualification.
• Google Adwords Professional accreditation.
• Demonstrate Link building skills

Technical Knowledge:

• Knowledge Google Analytics or similar traffic analysis tools.
• Hand coding HTML skills an essential.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc).
• Email marketing tools would be an advantage.
• Microsoft Project an advantage.

Main duties of the post will include:

• Researching search engine marketing trends, responding to seasonal market fluctuations, and modifying campaign accordingly
• Optimising listings and bid management
• Constructing report for clients and account management teams

We are looking for the successful candidates to have the following:

• Previous search engine marketing experience is essential for the successful candidate.
• The ability to source and develop a cold pipeline through to fruition from day 1.
• Existing pipeline and contacts is also preferential as hitting the ground running from day 1 is important.
• The ideal candidate will have worked in a specialist search engine marketing agency or similar company before, securing large blue chip client wins on a regular basis.
• The ideal candidate will have proven track record of selling SEO services of a minimum value of £1,000 a month and above.
• A fast thinking dynamic person with a positive attitude able to function under pressure, and an exceptional aptitude for learning, combined with common sense and initiative.
• An individual who has good presentation and public speaking skills.
• An individual that can function both as a team player and in a standalone capacity - able to organise yourself and your calendar.
• The successful candidate will have a good appointment making / telesales background and the proven ability to open doors to key decision makers.

You must be money-hungry and able to perform in a highly target-driven environment, have excellent communication skills and enthusiasm.

Required Skills

You must be professional, articulate and self motivated with basic skills of the Microsoft Office Suite and preferably ACT! Or Sales Force from a CRM perspective.
