Yahoo to launch major media campaign

NewMediaAge are reporting a major marketing drive by Yahoo now that the dust has settled from the protracted Microsoft saga and the upheaval that followed in it’s wake.
According to the article published Wednesday Yahoo’s Kristof Fahy, Vice President of their marketing division will head the project. Thay have appointed digital marketing agency Poke to lead the campagin with Carat responsible for planning/buying.
The next few months will see a series of online and offline adverts ahead of a major campaign at the end of the year. Yahoo are hoping to claw back ground and fend off major marketing pushes from AOL and Microsoft.
