Social Media Network names Nicole Vanderbilt as New VP1st September 2008 5:13 pm Global social media network Bebo, today announced the appointment of Nicole Vanderbilt to the newly created position of Head of International Expansion. In her new role, Ms. Vanderbilt will be responsible for driving Bebo’s business and membership internationally, initially focusing on France, Spain, Italy and Germany and the Netherlands. She will be based in Bebo’s London office. Prior to joining Bebo, Nicole was Google’s Head of Industry Marketing in Europe and later in India, where she was responsible for building the business to business marketing and industry sales strategy, as well as developing their agency programme. Before Google, she held several positions at American Express including Director Business Development, International and Director of Premium Communications, Europe. Welcoming Ms. Vanderbilt’s appointment, Joanna Shields, Bebo CEO said: “Nicole comes to Bebo with more than a decade of experience in developing creative, innovative marketing programs for top global companies.
