Adspace Networks, Inc., has nearly doubled the number of Smart Screens to the flagship Westfield Garden State Plaza Mall, while adding Paramus Park, Woodbridge Center, Westfield Sunrise and Staten Island Mall to its ever-expanding digital mall network in the New York market.
Operating the largest in-mall digital network in the U.S., Adspace Networks will now use larger, HD Panasonic displays to re-fit Westfield Garden State Plaza, among several other malls across the country. The network will continue to offer its unique editorial content including “Today’s Top Ten” and the recently launched “Essentials,” a new program led by Editorial Director Warren Christopher that showcases the best of fashion, retail and cosmetics.
“As the number one DMA in the U.S., and home to many in the media community, the New York market is very important to us and we are constantly looking to expand,” said William Ketcham, executive vice president and chief marketing officer, Adspace Networks. “With the addition of the new Panasonic displays, Westfield Garden State Plaza is now our premiere showcase mall in the New York DMA.”
To support the New York expansion and retrofitting, Adspace has hired Jessica Schwartz to head the sales efforts for the market. Ms. Schwartz has an impressive background in radio sales, with prior experience at WNEW in New York, and WHFS in Maryland. Prior to joining Adspace, Ms. Schwartz was a senior account executive for Greater Media’s WMGQ-FM/WCTC-AM in New Jersey where she generated over $300,000 in new direct revenue.
