By Andrew Redfern @ 20th November 2008 2:00 pm

Previously in beta testing in India Yahoo has today rolled out it’s expanded search results mashup into the United States.

Yahoo Glue!

Whilst in testing in India the results were presented in paralell to the ‘classic’ results and provide a richer more multimedia based set of sites for users to explore. In the US however it’s being presented as a seperate search system in it’s own right and can be found here : http://glue.yahoo.com/

Commenting on the expension Yahoo said “This iteration of the beta is centered around gathering insights about how people use topic pages focused purely on helping people discover information and browse through images, videos, articles, etc”. This new search results mashup will be seen as an attempt to offer something fresher and different from it’s main rival, Google, and claw back some market share.
