Mark Charkin Departs from Bebo: Statment from Kate Burns

News today reaches us that Mark Charkin has decided to move from Bebo and in response Kate Burns, MD Europe commented.
“I can confirm that Mark will leave us at the end of this month after what has been an amazing two-year journey with Bebo.
He has built one of the most respected and effective online sales teams in the industry, advanced the advertising model in the social media space and ultimately helped us to grow a strong business.
While he will be sorely missed we are happy that he will be embarking on his next entrepreneurial challenge and I am delighted that Simon Podd, Head of Sales UK & Ireland is taking up the mantle to drive Bebo forward into 2009.”
