Fathers Day Search Rises Again

The term “fathers day” has again seen a steady increase in the number of searches with the overall search volume expected to spike this week. With fathers day 2009 coming on the 21st June we expect a final week of high search volume as people panic buy their fathers day gifts.

At the end of June, as usual, we expect to see the search volumes for “fathers day” and other related phrases, drop back down to their usual low volume traffic. The increase is not just to a steady level throughout the month either, there has been a slow steady rise over the past 30 days that has seen “fathers day presents” search query rise 80% and fathers day sale rise over 50%.
This is good for all to see, from a maketing point of view. If we know when the search volume is likely to rise, then it gives us a good indication of when we can start to market our fathers day products and gifts.
