another spectacular royal rendezvous on Sydney Harbour following
yesterday’s release of Cunard’s 2011 world voyages.When the Ultra luxurious cruise liner, Queen Elizabeth arrives in Sydney on her maiden voyage on February 22, 2011, she will meet up with Queen Mary 2.
The city was gridlocked when crowds swarmed the foreshores to see the
meeting of Queen Mary 2 and Queen Elizabeth 2 on February 20, 2007,
which was celebrated with a fireworks display and a three-gun salute
from the historic cannon on Fort Denison.
Sherry expects the same turnout of spectators and pleasure craft to
welcome the royal duo on what she promises will be another
‘memorable, historic and exciting’ occasion.
