Hit Search Secures Contract with MatchesFashion.com

By Andrew Redfern @ 15th December 2009 10:24 am

Online marketing company Hit Search have secured an exciting contract to work with online fashion store Matchesfashion.com.

The high end designer clothing retailer has enlisted the services of Hit Search to aid the online marketing campaign of the retail website.

The Liverpool-based marketing outfit will be working on the Matchesfashion.com site to improve its online visibility through Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Pay Per Click (PPC), with the aim of increasing traffic to the site, and ultimately, increasing the amount of purchases made from Matches online.

Hit Search Director Andy Redfern said: “Our unrivalled experience in the retail environment coupled together with Matches’ powerful brand means that the online marketing campaign in 2010 will start with a bang.

“The passion of the brand coupled with expert knowledge from ourselves will take Matchesfashion.com into some exciting places.”

Fellow Hit Search Director Andy Donaldson said of the win: “This client further announces Hit Search as a main contender in the UK search engine marketing scene. We were very pleased to win the account in a pitch process involving some of the UK’s leading agencies.

“2010 is set to be an exciting year for Hit Search and our clients.”

Matches is one of London’s largest high-end clothing retailers. With thirteen stores in the capital, and an extensive online directory, they deal in over 60 designer brands, including Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Chanel and Stella McCartney. The website also has a dedicated online shop for New York designer Diane von Furstenberg.

Rob Short, Online Marketing and E-commerce Manager for Matchesfashion.com, said: “We are delighted to be working with Hit Search here at Matches. They have made the transfer from our previous search partner seamless.

“They have given us great confidence that they will be able to make a real difference to our business, by showing that they are experts in not just PPC, SEO and Social Media strategy, but more importantly execution.”
