Found a report on current online news trends over at Search Engine Watch.

The following table shows uk figures for online news searches :

• Yahoo News 3,550,000
• Google News 2,685,000
• MSN News 2,397,000

These figures from December 2007 were compiled by comScore and make interesting reading but it’s worth noting that the BBC news site was way out in front with 7,763,000 unique visitors.
