Internet drama Kate Modern hits the streets of three cities in a week

Bebo’s flagship online drama Kate Modern has been filming seven episodes in three UK cities this week. Fans of the show (all 1.5 million of them according to the latest figures) have been able to see the series being filmed in Manchester on the 19th February, Edinburgh on the 20th, and Leeds on the 21st. The company has teamed up with Toyota Aygo to provide logistical support for the endeavour.
Series producer Pete Gibbons said, “We are very excited to be working with Toyota and the Aygo Platinum. KateModern has become a very successful show on Bebo and the Toyota collaboration has provided us with great support to develop the plot and take the show outside of London.”. The episodes filmed this week will air on Bebo during the week beginning Monday February 25th.

Both Kate Modern and lonelygirl15 are produced by LG15 Studios (www.LG15.com), the digital and social media company dedicated to changing the way entertainment is consumed online.
The studio is helmed by Miles Beckett and Greg Goodfried, two of the Creators of lonelygirl15 and the Creators of KateModern and the shows’ Executive Producers. The Studio’s shows, launched in the summers of 2006 and 2007 respectively, have over 100 million combined views.
