Today’s online search engine trends; McCain and Earthquakes

Google has today released its hottest searches for the 21st February 2008. The Google trends daily hot list is based on Google user searches and are listed below.

The Nevada earthquake was the hottest searched phrase today over ten separate phrases relating earthquake based searches. Generic searches based around the specific earthquake zone like “earthquake center” and “earthquake map” were also registered.

Another favourite topic among searchers today was the story in the New York Times which was running a lead page story that features some of McCain aides’ suspicions of a romantic relationship between the Senator and Vicki Iseman. McCain later denied this story.
