When should you advertise your business on Google? The answer is now!
Google’s Adwords system is allows you to display your businesses advert on Google (by far the largest Search Engine in the UK) and like no other form of advertising you will only pay if people click your ads.
A simple three stage process will then follow
- Create your own text adverts
- Your text-based advert appears on Google
- You attract customers (and you only pay for customers who click!)
OK… before you get too excited a bit more detail on each stage
Create your own text adverts
You create adverts and select “keywords”. Keywords are phases that are phrases related to your business
Your text-based advert appears on Google(Google reaches 89% of UK Population, ComScore)
When people search on Google using one of your keywords, your ad can appear next to the search results. Targeted results? you betcha!
If you are a London Plumber - you could set up Google to display your adverts ONLY when a person typed in the phrase “London Plumber” or even more targeted how about you just want they to appear for the term “I need a London Plumber quick”
You attract customers
When customers click on your advert they learn more about you. (and you only pay for customers who click!)
So in summary what other advertising medium can promise a
- Targeted reach to your customer base
- Greater control over your marketing spend
- Measurable value
