MEN Media Ltd will report both its print circulation and website traffic data together. In a bold move that provides more evidence of both one and offline media moving together.
The report enables media owners, buyers and advertisers to clearly see a media brand’s cross-platform circulation and online traffic data from one source.
MEN Media biggest brand The Manchester Evening News (manchestereveningnews.co.uk) had more than one and half monthly unique users with over nine million page impressions in November 2007.
Martyn Gates, Director of Newspapers, ABC, said: “MEN Media producing its first Group Product Report is a positive move forward for the UK’s regional media industry.
It will provide MEN Media with an important trading tool, and a single resource for the media group to display their circulation figures and online traffic data audiences across various platforms when trading media space.”
Mark Rix, Managing Director, MEN Media Ltd said: Increasing numbers of clients are using our brands across both traditional and digital platforms to communicate with our audiences. Transparency and accountability are key values for MEN Media.
We are delighted to be the first regional media owner to buy into the initiative, which supplements our existing detailed audience data and when combined helps us offer agencies and advertisers centralised, verified data when making buying decisions in an increasingly complex market.”
