Virgin Mobile’s online ads system offers free airtime to Facebook users.

Thanks (once again) to Mashable for spotting an interesting online advertising innovation developed by VirginMobileUSA. They had pioneered Sugar Mama a mobile advertising system where you actually get mobile phone airtime for viewing ads…now a similar system has been developed for Facebook. Called Fund My Phone it credits your phone each time your Facebook friends view and give feedback on ads.

According to their website “[Just] Add the Fund My Phone application to your Facebook page and your friends can earn you free airtime. All they have to do is watch the same kind of stuff you see on Sugar Mama and give their feedback.

It’s quick & painless for them, and it means free minutes for you. The more friends who click and watch, the more airtime you can earn. Simple as that.”
