Yandex.Market adds product rate function

Shopping became easier for Yandex.Market users who can now read customer reviews published on the service. Reviews for products and services are available right on product description pages. Any authorized user can write a review.

Customer reviews, for instance, tell about how good the lens kit for a particular camera is, or if the kettle makes too much noise, or how long the cell phone battery will last. Besides, Yandex.Market is already offering customer reviews for online shops. During the three past months, customers posted 4022 reviews for 794 out of 2179 online shops on Yandex.Market.

“Customer reviews offer a brilliant opportunity to learn from others’ experience: read about strengths and weaknesses of a product and make a smart shopping decision,” says Andrey Kardapoltsev, a project manager at Yandex.
