TradeDoubler gets New UK MD and Client Services Director

By Andrew Redfern @ 12th June 2008 11:04 am

TradeDoubler, a digital marketing company, today announced the appointments of Ben Wood as UK Managing Director and Lara Kelly as Client Services Director.

Tradedoubler

Ben Wood will provide a boost to the UK management team taking specific responsibility for developing TradeDoubler’s UK operation. His focus will be to broaden TradeDoubler’s digital, performance-based offering in the UK, including the ad networks and pay-per-call product areas, as well as  maintaining its leading position within the affiliate marketing industry.

Ben joins TradeDoubler from Aegis Media UK where, since 2005, he has been working to develop and grow the digital product offering first of Carat and more recently at Vizeum.  He held the position of Joint Managing Director of Carat Digital from August 2005 and moved within the group in January 2007 to take on the role of Managing Partner at Vizeum.  Ben was also recently appointed chair of the IAB Affiliate Council for 2008 where he acts as an official representative and spokesperson for the group.

Wood comments “TradeDoubler is renowned for its unparalleled reach across Europe, where it has been at the forefront of performance-based marketing both in the UK and other major European markets for many years.  I’m greatly looking forward to continuing to shape and develop the full product offering in the UK. At a time when client budgets are under increasing scrutiny, I am passionate about the opportunity to drive integrated ROI focused campaigns through the TradeDoubler product portfolio. I can think of no other business in the media space that is positioned so perfectly to deliver tangible business results for brands”.

Lara Kelly joins TradeDoubler from News International where she held the role of Head of e-Commerce since June 2007. Prior to that, Lara spent five years managing the online retail and travel strategy and client relationships for the Orange Portal. She will take over the management of TradeDoubler’s 37-strong UK client services team and will focus on further enhancing TradeDoubler’s consultancy offering to deliver and exceed client objectives.

Kelly comments “TradeDoubler has a fantastic client base across a range of industry sectors and is well-known for its ability to build longstanding relationships with advertisers, publishers and agencies.”  She continues, “I want to use my account management expertise, online marketing knowledge and proactive approach to provide an even more rigorous level of service, offering consultancy support to our clients.”

Andreas Bernström, COO, TradeDoubler, says “I’m absolutely delighted to welcome Ben and Lara to TradeDoubler.  They both bring with them a wealth of digital experience and their appointments will greatly strengthen TradeDoubler’s UK management team.  I’m confident that both Ben and Lara will be hugely influential in driving our UK business to even greater heights”
