Scrabulous emerges from it’s chrysalis as “Wordscrape”.

By Andrew Redfern @ 31st July 2008 8:56 am

Thanks to those eagle eyed folk at Mashable for noticing this. The creators of Scrabulous have launched another word based game called WordScrape in the wake of their voluntary shelving of the popular Scrabulous Facebook application. The game’s creators, Rajat and Jayant Agarwalla, turned the game off in North America on Tuesday and look to have revamped it hoping that the changes they have made will make the game different enough to avoid the lawsuit filed by Hasbro the owners of Scrabble.

At the moment the game have a limited number of users but it’s highly likely that the number will grow quickly once the legions of Scrabulous users get word spreads of thenew application.
