GenieKnows Releases Local Search Engine version 1.5.2

GenieKnows today announced the latest release of its local search engine, GenieKnows Local Search version 1.5.2 (http://local.genieknows.com). This major release features improved Landmark Searching, which provides users with additional search functionality by allowing them to search for geographical landmarks by name in the United States and Canada.

Also featured in GenieKnows Local Search v. 1.5.2 is a new Tactile Map Zoom function, which offers users uniquely tactile map searching experience by allowing them to zoom in on-the-fly by holding the shift key while dragging a box with their mouse around the area in which they would like to zoom. After redefining the map using the Tactile Map Zoom function, subsequent searches will produce results limited to the newly-defined area.

In addition, this latest release of GenieKnows Local Search presents an expanded Bookmark & Share Widget, which supports a much larger list of social networking and bookmarking sites, including Favorites, Delicious, Google Bookmarks, Digg, MySpace, Facebook, Furl, Yahoo MyWeb, StumbleUpon, Reddit, Newsvine, Live, Technorati, Twitter, Yahoo Bookmarks, myAOL, Ask, Fark, Slashdot, Propeller (Netscape), Mixx, Multiply, Simpy, Blogmarks, Diigo, Faves (Bluedot), Spurl, Link-a-Gogo, Mister Wong, FeedMeLinks, Backflip, Magnolia, Seganlo, and Netvous.
