Women sues over Facebook Beacon privacy violation21st April 2008 11:04 am Beacon A Texas woman has begun a lawsuit against Blockbuster, the video rentals corporation, over it releasing her video rental history to Facebook’s Beacon marketing system. She claims her rights have been violated under the Video Privacy Protection Act and claiming $2,500 (around £1250) per violation.
