Many people set up a business to trade online, or decide to trade their original business, through online channels. What all these businesses miss out on, is the way in which you make money online. Many people believe that if you build a website and leave it online, then the money will come in with absolutely none or little effort needed. This misconception is what causes a lot of new online ventures to fail quicker than they started. It is important to remember that the main reason you started your venture, is to be seen by the masses and help increase sales online. The way in which this should be done, involves a lot of effort from yourself aswell as bringing someone with a little know how and experience, to help successfully market your product or service, to the masses of potential online customers. Consider it similar to marketing a shop, in order to be seen on the streets, you have to let people know you exist. This is exaclty the same when marketing for search engines, which to be honest, is where everyone goes to search for things they buy. Search engine marketing, as mentioned previously, does involve work from yourself aswell as others in order to succeed online. Experienced SEO companies such as Hit Search, can help you explore all avenues of online marketing. This online marketing along with articles written usually by yourself or your seo experts, will help increase the overall exposure your website has online. Exposure is key to helping your website work in the search engines, as every time a website links to your website, this can be considered a vote for your site. The more votes it has, combined with a variety of onsite techniques, can help bring an awful lot of traffic to your website. Don’t be like 1000’s of other online ventures that fail, put time and effort into your business, and consult experienced professionals to help make it work. LaMachine Team Behind The Liverpool Spiderby Andrew Redfern @ 5th September 2008 10:03 am Liverpool Business The La Machine will be taking place in Liverpool over three days with a two-day prologue, with a number of photocalls throughout the event. It will involve a giant mechanical fiftey feet tall creature exploring the city, created by the same master craftsmen that constructed. The Sultan’s Elephant, which visited London in 2006 .
Below are the details behind the creative team behind the “Scouse Spider”. François Delarozière - Artistic Director My father was a cabinet-maker, but he also built houses; that’s how I came to brickwork, to plumbing, welding and mechanics. But I think what inspires me most is a study of nature; before I invent, I observe life.” This life-long exploration of theatre has led to collaborations with major French and international companies from the worlds of traditional drama to experimental street art. Throughout his career, he has followed a relentless quest to push the boundaries of theatre, his work becoming a melting-pot for ideas and forms of the genre. Dominique Malan - Composer Malan is not a classically-trained composer, but takes his inspiration from nature and from the power of natural acoustic. Musically he cites influences from punk to Bartok, Ravel and Stravinsky. He composes in a way which allows the performer freedom; he doesn’t produce written parts but creates a series of themes which can be interpreted by the musicians. For this show, he has tried to evoke the spirit of the creature; he is creating a form of chamber music where the musicians are suspended around the creature. Malan’s career has spanned many disciplines – he has worked as a musician, graphic designer, actor and ound engineer. For the last 15 years he has concentrated solely on music and sound design. He has composed music for theatre, set Bukowski poems to music, created sound designs for theatre and soundtracks for film. He created the music for La Machine’s Symphonie Mecanique, in which music was played by machines with unusual special effects and pyrotechnics. Thierry Loridant - Special Effects This experience inspired him to use his training as a plumber to reate machines for performance and special effects, and the experience of the live foundry to control flame and use a combination of water, gas and pipes to create music and rhythm. These skills were further developed, when he created an organ using gas cylinders. At the core of his work is the relationship between rhythm, movement and special effects. For him the effects and the machines are like characters: they all have names and are treated as individuals. He collaborated with François Delarozière and Dominique Malan on La Machine’s Symphonie Mécanique, creating special effects which played a starring role in the performance. In addition to his work with La Machine, Thierry creates effects for film.
