Microblogging has spawned a who new craze of shortening URL; which makes your important text fit into 140 characters limit that Twitter imposes; The URL shortened has always been a useful little tool as it shortens an URL and make it easier to be read. Short URL does not only look tidier but it also give you the ability to track the number of times that link has been clicked upon - hence becoming a very useful tool in the tracking toolkit.
