Your read the headline and you panic....
Google is not recording data for yesterday within is Google Analytics interface; its been widely reported this morning.
Twitter has been buzzing with users who are scared that they will lose their website data.
Typical tweets on the subject are summed up from DigitalSHIV "my Google analytics account showing nothing for 2nd Nov... how many of you are facing same problem?"
Other similar comments on the subject from Hayley Tillson Tweeting in panic "Aghhhh! Where's Google Analytics data from yesterday? Another Google stuff up!! Anyone know of any way of retrieving the lost data?"
Its amazing; how we all rely on reviewing this data on a daily basis.
However.... Dont Panic
Being a search with has access a numerous account we tend to see this happen more than most; and in nine out of ten cases the issues are resolved in double quick time.
Quick updated -
"We are continuing to investigate this issue. We will provide an update by November 6, 2010 12:00:00 AM UTC detailing when we expect to resolve the problem."
Starting Oct 25th, a 24hr delay with processing in sampled reports was identified in some accounts. No data has been lost and a fix is in progress.

Google posted on the official Google Analytics blog the following -
On November 2nd, Google Analytics experienced technical difficulties, which lasted for a few hours. No data was lost, but users saw lower visits than expected during this time.
We deployed a fix as as soon as we were alerted and Analytics is now back to normal and data has been restored.
