We received a wonderful letter this morning from the children of St Silas Church of England Primary School, who wanted to thanks us for helping them to enjoy the trip of a lifetime to their sister school in Seville, Spain.
These kids had never before travelled outside of the UK and many had never set foot on a plane.
In a letter to everybody at Hit Search HQ, young Carvell from St Silas thanked us for the donation which made the trip possible and gave us a taste of the fun that was had.
He wrote: “We had a fantastic time. We took part in different activities such as: visiting schools, swimming, theme park and we went on a horse and carriage.
“Without your donation our trip wouldn’t have been possible”.
At Hit Search, we try to help the local community in any way we can, even when it means making a bit of a fool of ourselves; like the time our company directors pretended to be archaeologists from Liverpool University to host a talk in front of 200 fascinated school kids.
How’s that for Jurassic Marketing? Or is it Search Engine Fossilisation?
In the future, we’ll keep you up to date with all of the ways we try to help the people around us, so stay tuned to find out more.
We also recently announced the Hit Search Company Charity for 2014, which will be Alder Hey in the Park. We’ll be dreaming up ways to raise money for all of the remarkable people involved in the project and we’ll obviously let you know how we do.
