AdBrite today announced that it has launched the Facebook App Channel: a marketplace for advertising on Facebook applications.
AdBrite's Facebook App channel now allows an advertiser to buy adverts directly on a Facebook app without direct involvement from Facebook or Microsoft.
The channel now has around 100 facebook applications, including popular apps like iLike, Fight Club, and Pirates.

Facebook application developers can join the Facebook App Channel through an easy, self-serve interface, which makes their inventory available to a large base of advertisers.
Facebook's open platform allows independent app developers to offer unique services, including paid advertising, to users inside the Facebook environment.
AdBrite currently provides ads to more than 70 social networks, including 6 of the 10 largest. Clients from major brand advertisers, to smaller direct marketers, use AdBrite to reach members of Bebo, LinkedIn, Hi5, and imeem, as well as small and emerging sites.
