Digital PR Internship

Hitsearch are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Digital PR Intern to join our growing Digital PR team.

The Internship will begin early 2022, with interviews being held in January.

As a Digital PR Intern, your day-to-day activities will include end-to-end involvement in both client PR campaigns and Hitsearch's own marketing activity. You'll be heavily involved in implementation of digital PR activities, taking direction from the senior team on strategy and approach. Your day-to-day will largely revolve around bringing digital campaigns to life, as well as measuring and reporting back to our clients on performance and KPIs.

The role involves working on a portfolio of fashion, retail, legal and financial services clients - devising and delivering well-rounded, creative marketing campaigns that drive results.

This is a flexible term internship (6-12months) with a view to joining the Hitsearch team in a permanent role at the end of the internship period. There is a lot of opportunity to progress and define your own career path based on the experience gained throughout the internship.

We would prefer applicants local to Liverpool for this role, however we are open to remote applicants who are prepared to attend our Liverpool office on a monthly basis.

What You'll Get from the Role:

  1. The opportunity to gain experience across a broad spread of digital PR activities, including:
    1. Gaining an understanding of digital strategy and how PR fits into the mix
    2. Generating amazing ideas for creative PR campaigns
    3. Launching campaigns that generate news for your clients
    4. Identifying and compiling media lists for outreach
    5. Developing relationships with journalists, bloggers and influencers
    6. Writing press releases, pitch emails and creating digital assets
    7. Reporting and liaising directly with clients on campaign performance
  2. In-house and external training on all aspects of digital PR: from brand-led campaigns to link-building for SEO
  3. Regular brainstorm and ideation sessions to help create fun, creative campaigns
  4. The opportunity to lead on campaign delivery and own successes
  5. Daily, hands on involvement with some exciting clients and brand names
  6. Develop your understanding of project management, budget management and project delivery
  7. Learn your way around the analytical tools within Google's Reporting Suite
  8. Dedicated training budget and dedicated training time each month
  9. Detailed Personal Development Plan with personal targets & KPIs
  10. Opportunity to progress to a permanent, specialised role at the end of the internship period

What We're Looking for:

  1. A-Level or equivalent educational qualifications
  2. Exceptional written and verbal communication
  3. Hyper-organised with the ability to juggle several tasks at once
  4. A keen interest in digital marketing, evidenced by your own self-led learning
  5. A pro-active work ethic - able to work both autonomously and with others
  6. Drive, motivation and ambition to continually learn and keep up to date with the industry latest - the desire to be best of class!
  7. Bring creativity and new ideas to the table
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Previous experience in a marketing role is not essential, but is a plus!

  1. Full time, paid internship - circa £17k
