Senior Content Outreach Executive

We are looking for a Senior Outreach/Digital PR specialist to join our Creative Content team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with writers, bloggers, journalists and social media influencers with the aim of promoting and targeting relevant content to amplify client campaigns.

Day to day activities will include working with the SEO & Creative Content teams to create and implement dynamic content marketing, outreach and Digital PR strategies across the client base, using industry standard platforms and tools to reach key digital influencers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the Strategy, SEO and Creative Content teams to produce effective content marketing outreach strategies across the client base
  • Developing long term relationships with bloggers, journalists, writers and influencers via email, phone and social media
  • Analysing and reporting on various metrics to measure success of content marketing and outreach campaign activity
  • Written and visual content planning and creation
  • Working with the wider Hit Search service teams on multi-channel marketing activity
  • Producing relevant client-facing documents, proposals and reports
  • Helping Hit Search to further develop our offering by proactively looking for new Outreach and Digital PR approaches to test/implement
  • Staying up to date with industry developments and tools

Skills & experience required:

  • Degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years of successfully working in an in-house or agency content, outreach or digital PR role
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of SEO and how it relates to content marketing
  • Attention to detail, the ability to work to deadlines and excellent IT skills are essential for this role
  • Working knowledge of Gorkana or blogger management platforms
  • Knowledge/experience of Photoshop, InDesign or video production would be a bonus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics
