Mobile PPC Gains More Impression Share – Big News for Small Ads

iStock_000005695306SmallA report into PPC activity, during the first quarter of 2014, claims that mobile PPC has increased its share of impressions in the US. It is the latest in a number of signs that mobile ads could one day dominate the market and should already be part of your PPC campaign.

According to the report, 28% of PPC ad impressions were accounted for by mobile ads on smartphones and tablets.

Mobile phone impression share is up 35% in 2014, after enjoying 17% of impressions. The continued popularity of tablet computers led to an increased impression share of tablets, up to 11%. This is an increase of 21% on the previous year.
