Working with bloggers is an organic process of identifying the correct bloggers for your brand, who have the unique mix of bespoke content, a well-ranking site with a strong domain authority and a healthy mix of branded and non-branded blog posts.
We’ve built up an ever-growing blogger database supporting our digital marketing campaigns. We work with content creators across multiple platforms, backing up our ecommerce and retail digital marketing, fashion digital marketing, lifestyle and legal firm digital marketing verticals; but if your business falls outside these parameters, that’s no problem – our digital experts are constantly sourcing new blogger opportunities for a variety of business industries.
Reaching out to bloggers is a natural process, once we’ve identified they’re the right fit for your brand. The main emphasis for blogger collaborations is so they can create genuine, authentic content for your site and naturally place keywords. The body of their post, wording and tone of voice surrounding your brand or product offering must be clear, concise and all parties must understand the deliverables of the collaboration.
Bloggers have an enormous reach and SEO value, making them super valuable to up-and-coming and established businesses alike. There are multitudes of ways in which you can collaborate with bloggers to reach potential new customers, increase brand awareness and garner backlinks on a weekly or monthly basis.
The easiest way to collaborate, if you’re an ecommerce brand, is on a gifting basis. Fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands reap the rewards of having a positive blogger outreach strategy in place by gifting reputable bloggers, whom have a strong domain authority, products to trial, review and showcase within bespoke blog content. In exchange, bloggers are requested to include a particular backlink and anchor text, aligning with the digital marketing SEO strategy.
Blogger outreach directly aligns with SEO and is viewed as the off-page strategy, in support of the technical SEO on-page work that’s already taking place. Our skilled outreach team take regular guidance and feedback from our technical SEO team, ensuring the links placed are to the correct landing pages and have the most relevant anchor text possible. The initial battle is the process of researching and defining which bloggers to work with who align most with your brand, whilst the second is to ensure each link placement is working extra hard to support search engine rankings and is as relevant as possible to the landing or category page we want to boost.
Bloggers chosen to collaborate must meet a certain criteria. Domain authority is a huge factor in the decision-making process and must be scored at 20 and above. This means the link quality is far superior to those with a lower numbered rating and provides the website with a greater chance of ranking well and aligning with the technical SEO and content creation that has taken place on-page.

Daisy London wanted to increase the number of inbound backlinks to a variety of jewellery category pages via gifted blogger collaborations. Hit Search decided to use an authentic blogger outreach campaign, focusing on gifting fashion and lifestyle blogger with jewellery from the target landing pages to accomplish this goal.
Hit Search collaborated with UK-based fashion and lifestyle bloggers to create bespoke content featuring both the gifted jewellery and the target category page links. The outreach activity was an extension of the on-page SEO strategy, negotiated by our technical SEO leads.
Hit Search delivered an on-going campaign, across a nine-month period, steadily gifting up to five bloggers per month from different category page targets. The bloggers were asked to feature the jewellery within a relevant blog post, promoting Daisy London and their vast jewellery range.
Bloggers had free reign to create beautiful content and include the jewellery within a mix of fashion outfit posts, haul posts or lifestyle think pieces – each perfectly encapsulating Daisy London’s brand identity whilst in keeping with each bloggers content style and tone of voice.
The campaign aimed to generate high-quality backlinks over a nine-month period from sites with a domain authority rating of 15 and above.
Collectively, 40 bloggers participated across the campaign, meeting the agreed deliverables of bespoke content creation, organically featuring Daisy London within fashion and lifestyle blog posts and including the specified link and anchor text.
The organic content reporting showed the campaign steadily increased the number of backlinks and referring domains across a number of the website’s category pages, including necklaces, Christmas gifts and earrings over the duration of the campaign.
